Common in cats and dogs but sometimes displayed in humans, there is a genetic mutation known as 'odd eye' in which a person's right eye will be a different color from their left. Another extremely rare case occurred in a moose discovered in 1981 on a Columbia mountain in Canada. The case states that the moose had a shining red eye and a blue eye that sparked like jewels.
